We own and protect over 1,200 woods throughout the UK covering in excess of 50,000 hectares; all of which are freely open for all to enjoy. Our vision is to see a UK rich in native woods & trees enjoyed and valued by everyone. We campaign for greater protection for native woods (especially ancient woodland – our richest wildlife habitat and the equivalent of the rainforest) and aim to double the amount of native woodland in the UK (we have already planted over 13million trees – more than any other UK conservation organisation). We have over 220,000 members who share our passion for woodland and nature. For each new member we can, on average, care for and protect half an acre of native woodland.

Shelter is the UK’s leading housing and homelessness charity.
Our vision is that everyone should have a home. Each year we help over 170,000 people. We do this by providing vital advice through our free housing helpline, our national network of Housing Aid Centres and specific locally tailored projects. We also campaign for fairer legislation and better housing policies in order to address the root causes of homelessness and bad housing. We rely on voluntary donations in order to be able to continue our services, and regular monthly direct debits from members of the public provide the backbone of our funding.

Please Donate £2 per month here
The need for our services is huge:

One in seven children in Britain lives in overcrowded, dilapidated or temporary accommodation.
Children living in bad housing are almost twice as likely to suffer from poor health.
They are also more likely to miss school, be unhappy and run away from home.

When these children grow up, they are more likely to develop long term illnesses, to be out of work or on low pay, and to suffer from depression. 1.9 million households in Britain are on the waiting list for a council home. Nearly 75,000 homeless households in England are stuck in temporary accommodation

Thats why Shelter have launched this campaign to raise funds for our wide range of services and projects. We are hoping that this online advertising initiative will provide a long-term source of support, by educating and inspiring members of the public and showing them that a few pounds a month can make huge differences to the lives of families who are facing homelessness or enduring bad housing.

WWF is best known for its programmes to protect endangered species and their habitats, and much of WWF’s work is in areas where the most critically endangered wildlife and the least protected habitats are found. However, this is only part of what they do.

WWF also works to address global threats to people and nature such as climate change and the unsustainable consumption of the world’s natural resources. They do this by influencing how governments, businesses and people think, learn and act in relation to the world around us, and by working with local communities to improve their livelihoods and the environment upon which we all depend.

WWF uses its practical experience, knowledge and credibility to create long-term solutions for the planet’s environment.

WWF Mission
WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. WWF do this by:
• conserving the world’s biological diversity
• ensuring that the use of renewable resources is sustainable
• promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption

As you read this now, a Child somewhere needs your help. one in three Children in the UK must make do without basic essentials.

Sponsoring a child with Barnardos really does do what it says, helping a real vulnerable child or young person who is desperate for your help.

In most cases, Children have no where to turn, except Barnardos and hopefully today, with you. If you believe in all Children no matter who they are or what they have been through then maybe and hopefully, you can become a sponsor.

The feeling you get from helping Barnardos is one that’s hard to explain, but it’s pretty much like being a Parent, knowing you are providing the money needed to help them, knowing they can enjoy a future and not just another problem.
